Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan (@ChouhanShivraj) says, “… We discussed the rural development schemes together. One unfortunate thing was that the previous government in Odisha showed no interest in taking the houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana that the Government of India wanted to provide to the poor, and therefore many people were deprived of them. This time, I would like to congratulate the Odisha Government, the Chief Minister, the Rural Development Minister and the entire team for completing, with full dedication and seriousness, the survey being conducted by the Government of India to determine how many homeless people there are in Odisha… The work is currently underway, and as the Minister was telling us, they will complete this work by August 27.”
