The Vice President said Shri La. Ganesan’s life was marked by tireless effort, perseverance and dedication.The Vice President said he viewed the establishment of the ‘Ala.Ila Foundation’ as an effort to preserve Shri La. Ganesan’s memory and carry forward his ideals.
He welcomed the Foundation’s initiative to provide educational scholarships to the next generation. Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan recalled Shri La. Ganesan’s strong opposition to the Emergency, during which he lived underground for nearly a year. His commitment and hard work during that period, he said, were extraordinary.
