Bhagwant Mann’s government has allegedly turned Independence Day into a publicity stunt, with Health Department employees reportedly presented as elderly beneficiaries of successful knee replacement surgeries despite never undergoing the procedure. A spectacle of lies in the name of August 15! Elderly people were made to dance before the cameras and presented as beneficiaries. A staged performance was then projected as a major achievement of the government’s so called “health revolution.” Punjab’s hospitals need doctors, medicines and real treatment, not propaganda and photo ops. Our elders deserve dignity. Punjab deserves the truth.
